Daishichi Minowamon "The Gate"

$98

This dream sake has a classic nose filled with ripe peach, cantaloupe, and raisins.  The first sip of “the Gate” makes you a believer, as a chewy viscosity moves from start to finish in a velvety and creamy rush. A solid acidity play mingles with ripe and juicy flavors such as pears, bananas, and mangos.  This sake spells for a very “professional” Junmai Daiginjo experience that allows a drinker to taste a bit of heaven. The kimoto method adds a creaminess and softness to the richness of the brew.

High quality

I sent this to one of my sons living in New York. He says this is very good quality Sake, and likes it very much.

Smooth

An easy smooth tasting Sake. The group really enjoyed it. Went well with all the seafood served that night. Will buy again.
